After high school, Si Si went to NYC to pursue modeling. She also lived in Milan and worked for international clients such as “Clairol”, "Converse", "Samsung", “KMS Hair”, “ALDO COPPOLA”, “bootlegger”, and shoot for magazine editorials such as “Mademoiselle”, Italian “Donna”, Italian “YES”, "Banana", "QSF", "BLINK", etc.

in 2001, Si Si represented Canada and won the 4th place in the “Worldwide Asian Supermodel contest 2001” in Atlantic City.

2 weeks before September 11^th, Si Si moved back to Vancouver to continue education at Simon Fraser University, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in communication.

Si Si won the 2005 ITM modeling competition in Canada and went to San Ya, China for the 16th annual New Silk Road modeling competition. As the first ever Chinese Canadian contestant in 16 years to represented Canada and compete in China's New Silk Road Model Look 2005 Si Si won 3rd place.

In 2006, Si Si became the first Chinese Canadian contestant on "Canada's Next Top Model", She also took 3rd place on season one of CNTM

2005年代表加拿大参加新丝路中国模特大赛，成为新丝路模特大赛举办16年以来首位参赛的外籍华裔女模特，并获得季军。

2006年王思思作为加拿大首位华裔选手参加超热电视节目首届加拿大超模大赛(Canada's Next Top Model)，并在比赛中获第三名，成为连锁Next Top Model超模大等（美英法德国等）11个国家中首位进入三强的纯亚裔选手。
